Depression Therapy
Our therapist, Kate Millichamp, offers 60-minute virtual individual therapy for children 10 years and older, adolescents, and adults for the treatment of depression and anxiety.
Kate specializes in treating chronic depression and primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as treatment modalities.
“In my therapy practice, I primarily help people who struggle with chronic depression and who feel hopeless about finding a solution. Many of my clients have lived with depression for years and have tried many different treatments in the past that weren't effective. Through therapy, these same clients begin to experience relief from debilitating sadness, gain confidence in themselves, discover joy and meaning in life, feel less shame and guilt, and build more fulfilling relationships.
In therapy with me, you'll identify specific goals, develop deeper insight and self-awareness into your thought and behavior patterns, improve your ability to regulate your emotions, and learn practical skills to improve your emotional well-being, build independence, and cultivate a sense of mastery over your mental health.”
